The apartment CA’ NEI RONCHI BREGAGLIA comprises a 72 square metre living accommodation located in Borgonuovo di Piuro, a municipality in Italian Bregaglia. It sleeps six people in a double bedroom, a bedroom with bunk beds, and a living room with a double bed-sized divan with futon. All are provided with sheets. The accommodation boasts a kitchen, bathroom and a balcony which overlooks the noted waterfalls Cascate dell’Acqua Fraggia. It is a mere 5 minutes by car to the delightful little town of Chiavenna, and takes only 20 minutes to reach the extensive Skiarea Valchiavenna-Madesimo, and 35 minutes to that of St. Moritz. The apartment is situated along the trekking routes of Via Bregaglia and Traversata dei Monti. It’s also just a stone’s throw from the popular bicycle pathway that runs the length of Valchiavenna and is handily placed for rock-climbing and bouldering enthusiasts. It represents the perfect “base camp” to tackle the legendary alpine challenges like Gruppo delle Sciore and Pizzo Badile. Even closer than Chiavenna itself, visitors can enjoy the magnificent Palazzo Vertemate Franchi on foot, along with the ruins of the ancient Piuro del Belfort. Transport is always available to and from Chiavenna whenever necessary.
