And yet the experience of a well-earned break, at 1250m, in a superb location in the Central Alpine arc overlooking Valchiavenna, in a natural yet “quasi-urban” spot within reach of all services and amenities, was to prove a remarkable success story. All this, yet having involved a promotion in decidedly “under the radar” mode. American, Italian and other European tourists began to book holiday stays in the homes that Krene were able to extol by simply highlighting the engaging consonance of detail, and the originality of every single element. Krene Holidays is aimed at those amongst us who are not looking to spend a “glamorous” sojourn in a fashionable resort, where the overriding philosophy is that of “spend and demand”, but prefer instead a somewhat original formula which guarantees a more authentic experience all round.
