TRADITIONAL ITALIAN DIGESTIVE INFUSIONS ARE BACK IN FASHION. AMONG THE MANY, A CHIAVENNA LABEL MUCH APPRECIATED FOR ITS AUTHENTIC FLAVOUR, WILL SOON BE MAKING ITS DEBUT.
Amari are a typical feature of Italian tradition. They go back through the ages and originate from infusions of herbs and spices, produced with an alcoholic base then sweetened and flavoured according to taste. Once used for their medicinal properties, they then became more of a pleasant adjunct at the end of a meal, post-coffee. But as time moves on so too habits change and today amari are making a fascinating comeback. And no longer confined to the classic after dinner role. An indulgence that finds a wide consensus amongst a young and old public. And one that has stimulated the arrival of brand new labels created by artisan producers using original and innovative ideas. All to be tasted. And such is just the case with the amaro Sesarei, a proposal by they who breathed life into the hugely successful Gin Giüst, now an absolute must for its many followers. The result of a careful selection of plants through the Alpine tradition, then appropriately blended using the experience of virtuosi, the amaro Sesarei first took to the stage in September receiving much public appreciation. So here we have it: Sesarei, a highly original amaro. Reference - bright, imaginative - the result of the creator&´s desire to restore the essence of authentic and low-sugar bitters appreciated for their richness of flavour that does not stultify the palate but offers an original bouquet of fragrance and seasoning. L’amaro Sesarei is the genuine article, a much appreciated addendum for anyone looking for something rather particular in the infinite variety of propositions in the Valchiavenna tradition. |
