Marion and Michael actually live and work in Stuttgart. In 2018 they spent a short stay in Chiavenna almost by chance and immediately fell in love with the place. "We were looking for an apartment for holidays in the mountains" they recall "and in the end we settled in Loreto". Ever since whenever we have any spare time we come and stay here. It&´s an incredibly beautiful corner of the planet".
The bond that unites this inspirational couple has become particularly strong, almost consuming. So much so that a year ago Marion and Michael decided to share their experiences of life outdoors with the wider German public, creating a website full of useful information in the appropriate language on the endless opportunities for outings and adventures in the valley and surrounds.
"Valchiavenna is a region which we adore" they tell me "it&´s very special the whole year round, every season, both for activities in the open air but and for what it serves up in the shape of food and hospitality. We couldn&´t help but notice that there wasn&´t much information on the web in German. So at the beginning of 2021, we decided to publish our own advice, describe our experiences and make our passions clear, on a page which has gradually taken off and become pretty comprehensive".

"We have already explored a great deal of the valley but there&´s plenty left to discover. So the site will develop continually " Marion assures " and we regularly receive comments and appreciation from lots of people, especially on social networks. And this is a delight and encourages us to take things forward".
