Mexico, late &´60&´s. To make up for the lack of space needed for a tennis court, Enrique Corcuera decided to exploit the small area that he had available, demarcating its perimeter with wire mesh which was later to become an integral part of the game dynamics. Since that time padel has gradually spread to many countries. In Italy between 2019 and 2022 the number of players increased fivefold, occupying 5.000 courts. One of these is located in the park of San Fedele, Chiavenna. Surrounded by greenery, the court is open from 7 until 24, with the possibility of booking slots of 90 mins. The structure is equipped with showers and there&´s a modern bar
with tables in the open. Salads and cold dishes are served. Players who want to challenge each other in an exciting sport, it&´s for hire. There are also three qualified instructors, individual lessons useful for both learning the rudiments of the sport or for refining one&´s technique. Chiavenna Padel is a new and engaging facility where you can practise healthy sport, keep fit and enjoy the company of friends in an attractive setting.
