THE MAGIC IS BACK!
To feel at home in an environment that is anything but home is something you might experience very rarely indeed. And getting about with a freedom in unspoiled territory might be even rarer. And perhaps the best way to achieve this is under your own steam.
This is the very basis on which the concept of Homeland takes shape, bringing the novice closer to the practice of ski mountaineering, and being trained in safety matters directly in the field. The snow has happily arrived in good time this year, and Homeland, now in its second season, is offering a range of activities in a packed renewal. Excursions are planned, organised on a multilevel degree of difficulty, where everyone can take full advantage and explore the magic of the surrounding peaks of the alpine village of Montespluga. mThe Safety camps are first to the fore, where you learn how to best deal with a risky situation, and the Night Camp Homeland providing simulations of authentic Alpine expeditions. And there are further new initiatives including outings on snow racquets (some at night) and days organised made to measure for groups and businesses.
